WHO FCTC

World Health Organization (WHO) adopted a Framework Convention on Tobacco Control in May 2003 which entered to force on February 27, 2005. The National Assembly of Hungary enacted FCTC by Act No III. in 2005.

Imperial Tobacco respects the WHO’s overall objective of the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health. We believe that WHO FCTC provides a global framework within which national authorities may decide on the tobacco control regulation that is most appropriate for their national circumstances
