Tobacco companies call for courteous smoking in 2007
Within the framework of their corporate responsibility programmes, member companies of the Hungarian Association of Tobacco Industry (HATI), which includes Imperial Tobacco Hungary Ltd, have organised a media campaign calling for smokers to observe the law and be considerate to non-smokers.
Launched in spring 2007, the campaign is aimed at large sections of the Hungarian society. The campaign relates to the sale of tobacco products, the establishment of designated places for smokers, the need to prevent children below 18 years of age from buying tobacco, and rules for courteous smoking and protection of the environment.
The media advertisement published by HATI in a number of daily newspapers and professional magazines may be read here in English.
